Record high demand for stand space

There has never been a higher demand for a stand in the ONS Exhibition. Companies from all over the world are eager to exhibit their products, projects and tech to the leading energy industry at ONS 2022.

  • We are experiencing great demand from exhibitors at ONS 2022.
  • The companies wanting to exhibit are as internationally diverse as they are different in products, experience and size.
  • More companies are booking stands to increase their presence at ONS. 

“Everyone” wants to be at ONS 2022

In the last few weeks, we have seen an increased interest to be a part of ONS 2022 from exhibitors. There is an especially high rate of requests from the US and the UK. The companies are representing all parts of the energy industry, in all shapes and sizes, well-established and new.

“In my 12 years here, I have never before seen anything like this – everyone wants to be at ONS!”, says Jan Morten Auseth, Key account manager,  ONS Foundation.

By how things are looking now, we see that there is a need in the business and energy industry to meet. Both to gain insight from the conference and explore business opportunities and network. As the energy transition progresses and the world changes every day, many see the need for more cooperation and transparency. This resonates clearly with this year’s ONS theme – TRUST. Dialogue and discussions are necessary to make fast changes – which is what happens at ONS. 

High demand from the well-known and new

The exhibition spaces are filling up with new companies in industries we haven’t seen at ONS before. This reflects the overall ONS strategy of being a meeting place for the whole energy industry -both through our conference venues such as Net Zero Markets, Scale-ups and the energy and society debates we open up for all the public downtown Stavanger during ONS.

“It is also nice to see Norwegian companies that have not traditionally been a part of our exhibition, joining in this year to benefit from the networking and marketing opportunities we provide at ONS”, says Auseth.

Northern Lights is a good example of a company that got a kick start after attending ONS in 2018. They started as a project, won The Innovation Award and are now coming back as a big company at the ONS Exhibition. The market for CCS has since 2018 grown immensely and Northern Light’s technology has been leading the industry in CCS the whole way.
